TYPICAL COSTS OF FR'S

Decorative Materials &
Upholstery
The typical costs for Residences for People with Disabilities and Assisted Living Facilities using IFS Certified Applicators is between $800-$1,200 once every 5 years. Should your own certified maintenance personnel do this, you may be able to realize cost savings.
Our solution will keep your facility in compliance with Federal, State and local Fire Codes.
IFS is working to get our programs qualified for fire safety grants.
For facilities adopting IFS's whole program, there can be available insurance credits reducing the amount of financial exposure to minimum amounts if at all.
Interior Finishes
Typical FR Paints and Varnishes are approximately $20 per gallon more expensive than standard house paints and varnishes where coverage rates are the same. An an example, using 200-400 feet per gallon, this amounts to an additional cost of approximately .6 cents per square foot amortized over 10 years making the cost to maintain FR Interior Finishes minimal.
