Dear Mr. Caldwell,

As per our discussion this letter is to confirm that our patented flame retardant Inspecta-Shield© as registered with the California State Fire Marshals’ Office is not manufactured with or contains any Polybrominated, Pentabrominated or Octabrominated Diphenyl Ethers. The formula does not contain any chlorinated Tris or any TDCPP.

The product is manufactured under a Quality Control Follow Up Service Program through Underwriters Laboratories and bears the U.L. Classification Label.

In addition Inspecta-Shield has been subjected to the following Toxicology Tests:

Code of Federal Regulations, Vol. 16 Part 1500.30 – Evaluation of Acute Oral Toxicity Study (Hazelton Laboratories of America)

Federal Substance Act, 16 CFR 1500.41 – Evaluation of Primary Dermal Irritation Study (Hazelton Laboratories)

Inspecta-Shield is listed as non-toxic under both above test methods

Evaluation of the Acute Inhalation Toxicity of the Combustion Materials Using the University of Pittsburgh Test Method (Anderson Laboratories): Inspecta-Shield is listed as no more toxic than the treated substrate
